Getting Started
Global Blocklist
Configure your organization’s blocked words
The global blocklist allows you to automatically flag content containing specific words or phrases.
Managing Blocked Words
Add or remove words from your blocklist using the interface in your dashboard:
- Navigate to Rules > Global Blocklist
- Type a word and press Enter to add it
- Click the X next to a word to remove it
How It Works
When content contains any blocked word:
- The content is automatically flagged
- Our system applies multiple transforms to catch evasion attempts:
- Handles similar-looking characters (e.g., unicode substitutions)
- Detects leetspeak (number/symbol substitutions)
- Normalizes repeated characters
- Removes special characters and spaces
- All matches are case-insensitive
For example, if you block badword
, we’ll catch variations like b@dw0rd
, b a d w o r d
, or baaaadword
.
